    在英语的听、说、读、写四项技能中，说和写都属于输出技能，没有听和读的积累就无法自由、明确地传递信息，表达思想。而且，相较于“说”这一自由随意的话语表现形式，“写”在传情达意的同时还要注重表达的准确性和完整性，显然“写”的要求更高，“写”的能力反映了综合语言水平，所以，“写作”在大小语言考试中的难度和重要地位都不言而喻，备受关注。从历年上海市学业考试英语写作得分率65%左右这一数据分析，学生在写作能力上还有待进一步提高。

    纵观最近几年的英语题型和分值的变化可以明显地看出英语学业考试继续坚持淡化语法、加强能力考查英语教学评估的方向，尤其加强对学生英语作文的能力要求。英语的写作分值也在逐年稳步提高：2005年10分；2006年14分；2007、2008年16分；2009、2010、2011年18分；2012年20分。2006年出台英语作文“组织结构分”；2007年把英语作文“写话”改为“写作”；2009、2010、2011年作文评分标准7＋8＋3（内容＋语言＋组织结构）；2012年作文评分标准8+8+4（内容＋语言＋组织结构）。

    处于英语学习初级阶段的初中生在英语写作中普遍存在以下问题：

    ●畏惧写作，不知道该写什么，怎么写。

    ●语言积累不足，语言运用能力偏低。在英语写作中，普遍存在着汉语负迁移的现象，语言表达错误较多。

    ●作文题材虚假、单一，内容贫乏、空洞，缺少真情流露。

    ●对篇章结构缺少认知，表达主题不明确，缺少连贯性、整体性。

    要改变这种情况，需要在平时加强训练：一周写两篇作文，同语文作文一样多写多练多积累。写作时，要注意合理布局，千万不能有语法错误，至少出现3个灵活多样的复合句，条理清晰，过渡词流畅，这就是一篇英语满分作文的标准。

    考生在最后阶段还要多背诵好词好句，多积累不同题材的作文——毕竟，作文的提分还是有非常大的潜能的。◎人物篇

    My Mother

    My mother is always ready to give everything she has to her children, not to receive.

    Like all mothers, my mother gives most of her efforts to me. When I am ill, she stops her work right now to look after me day and night and forgets about herself. When I hurry to leave home for school without breakfast, she always feels worried about me. She always stands in the wind and waits for me back from school. I often get some support from her whenever I have some difficulties in my life. When I do well at school, I always see the brightest smile on her face.

    My mother is really the most wonderful mother in the world. I will remember Mother’s love for ever!

    My favourite movie

    Everyone has his taste. As for me, I’m a big film fan and my favorite movie is Harry Potter.

    First of all, I am deeply moved by the story. It’s about how a brave boy with magic powers fights against evil(bad things) with his friends. You’ll find it very exciting and moving.

    Secondly, I am fond of the magic power and I can’t imagine my life with magic powers. But more importantly, I can learn a lot from the film. It enables me to think more about the meaning of friendship and responsibility.

    Nowadays, more and more people in China like traveling.

    Why do people travel? Some people think they travel because traveling can enrich their life. Some people think they travel because traveling opens a new world to them. But most people think they travel for relaxation. I think people should enjoy life after a long time’s work.

    As a saying goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." Traveling is beneficial to both sprit and health.

    My favourite television broadcast

    Undoubtedly, various television broadcasts are of great importance. By watching TV, we can enrich our knowledge and broaden our mind.

    As far as I am concerned, I like the television music broadcast best. Firstly, it serves as a private escape from the heavy school life. What’s more, I do feel the beauty of the music with some singers’ amazing voices that seem to come from pure hearts. More importantly, I can learn a lot from the music broadcast and it can refresh my mind and renew my 

    energy.

    With all these benefits, the music broadcast is of great value to me.

    Don't Waste Time

    Time is like a train which can only go forward. In another word, lost time can never be found again.

    What’s more, one’s time is as precious as his life. As the saying goes, wasting time means wasting your life, because we can only live once in the world. So, no matter what we do, we mustn’t waste time, even one second. Then we should do something to save time. For example, while doing our homework, we shouldn’t think about anything else. Besides, we should shorten the time we spend in watching TV or playing computer games.

    In brief, yesterday is a history and tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. Never waste any time.
