Chickenpox(水痘)used to be a common childhood illness in the United States, especially in kids under age 12. It's much rarer now, thanks to the vaccine(疫苗). Chickenpox is very contagious(感染性的). Kids who do get it might have spots all over the body. An infected child should stay at home and rest. Because the wind will cause the illness to become worse and worse. Chickenpox often starts with a fever, headache, sore throat, or stomachache. These symptoms may last for a few days, with the fever in the 38.3-38.8°C range. Kids can be protected by getting the vaccine, which greatly cuts down their chances of getting chickenpox. And vaccinated kids are not so easy to get the illness, or they will recover(恢复)very soon.
